JOHANNES TOLK

Johannes Tolk is an artist and designer living and working in Berlin. He studied communication design and media art at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design. In 2007 he spent three months for a research project in Moldova and Transnistria and since then a lot of time in Bulgaria, where he finished his master project on cultural diplomacy in 2010 for which he recieved an MFA in experience design from Konstfack in Stockholm. In 2011 Tolk founded together with Martin Borst the publishing house Hands on Papers. Their publications have been shown in exhibitions and fairs in NY, Sao Paulo, Tokyo, Sofia, Thessaloniki, Berlin, Bonn, Frankfurt and Leipzig and are available through selected bookshops around the world.
